A fantastic story (loads of word-play and references that make it a great read for grown-ups, too) with plenty of action and ideas that pull children right into the story. There is a strong reference to never giving up on your dreams, creative problem-solving, resilience and the importance of friendship. The illustrations are bright, cheerful and packed full of expression. This is the perfect story to start off your springtime reading. Funny, charming, adventurous, clever…it’s just wonderful!
